I adore this place. I've only been in once so far, but the entry beauty had me at hello, then great chips, beans, and salsa! The authentic decor follows throughout the deceivingly large dining area and comfortable seating. Very beautiful! ..did I say beautiful? Seriously, well done! I'm understating how impressive their interior is. It's worth going back for alone. But then their food has the taste to match the amazingly helpful staff and gorgeous theme. Well played La Casa Lopez, well played! I felt welcome in your house. It was truly a pleasure and I look forward to returning!
Not very welcoming if you come in on Main Street. But don’t let that stop you. Once you’ve cleared the fence and all the shrubbery and get inside, it’s really a cool atmosphere. The service is top rate. The food is really good too. There is parking and an entrance in the back. The margaritas were good.
The food was delicious and the owner Mitch was attentive and engaging with the customers. I have the steak fajitas, which were top-notch (as were the cocktails).
The BEST food EVER. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed a Great meal and a cold beer in a family friendly atmosphere.
Got in to La Casa Lopez right at opening (3pm) and got seated in front of the bar area. Fresh bean dip and waters brought out separately. Server was great by answering all questions without hesitation. Food came out smoking hot on an even hotter plate. Watch those fingers! I ordered the Tacos Al Pastor. The flavors were I like using chili verde sauce so I slathered it on all three. Highly recommend you give it a try if you enjoy tacos Al pastor.
Stellar always. The Lopez family runs a wonderful restaurant. Probably one of the top two restaurants in town. For the atmosphere, I need a couple extra stars to add.
Tried La Casa Lopez when I visited my daughter at U of Idaho for lunch. Neither of us had been there previously and are very glad we came in. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my daughter had an Enchilada without the green sauce. Seriously good! They also have some black bean dip they served with chips and salsa (salsa was also awesome) pre-entree that was fantastic! We'll definitely be back and you should stop in if your in the area!
